Q: I am a Six Sigma Consultant and I am currently running a project for a client on sales. My analysis revealed that unless the company review its current "cost plus" pricing strategy sales will continue to be under severe threat. The company is recognized for the quality of their products but are simply not price competitive. After costing analysis revealed that they more than often exceed their expected profit margins. The current pricing models apply costs quite loosely/ conservative "pushing their price over the edge" of market dictated/ competitive pricing.
